Formbank & Checklists

What Is the Formbank?

ICLE’s Formbank is an online collection of assorted drafted forms with a commentary section explaining legal background and perspective. These forms are samples used in actual legal matters, written in plain English, and edited to be generic.

What Is a Checklist?

A checklist is a handy and easy-to-read document that a lawyer can use to make sure he or she has covered all bases when handling a particular matter or transaction or performing a particular task. The contributor submits the checklist with a commentary section explaining legal background and perspective. The checklist does not include explanation of each of the items in the list. Rather, it is a distillation of what the lawyer needs to know.

My involvement with ICLE has been rewarding both professionally and personally. The staff is knowledgeable and easy to work with. They understand how to structure programming and work with attorney contributors to ensure great content while respecting the busy schedules of the practitioners involved. I am always happy to have an opportunity to work on an ICLE event.
