What is ICLE’s Premium Partnership?
A practical and comprehensive collection of Michigan-specific online resources. Includes 57 Online Books, 2,200+ Formbank, 200+ How-To Kits, 175+ On-Demand Seminars, 10–12 yearly Partnership seminars, a primary law research tool known as Michigan Law Online (MLO), and more.
How is the Partnership different from other legal resource subscriptions?
The Partnership is only for Michigan lawyers and their staff. The Partnership’s proprietary online resources focus on Michigan issues. These resources link to primary law, but are uniquely focused on practical, how-to guidance and expert commentary from other Michigan lawyers.
Does the Partnership include a primary law search tool for Michigan caselaw?
Yes. Michigan Law Online (MLO) is included in the subscription and is your go-to source for cases, statutes, and court rules that are fully integrated into Partnership resources with one-click access to cited primary law.
Which practice areas does it cover?
Most practice areas are covered, but 10 core areas are covered in depth—probate and estate planning, business law, family law, real property, civil litigation, criminal law, elder law, debtor/creditor, negligence/torts/no-fault, and employment/labor. Plus, the Partnership’s ICLE Community provides answers to your specific questions from lawyers in virtually every practice area.
What if I only practice in one area?
Most lawyers find their practice area overlaps with at least two others. For example, family lawyers often need real property resources to help clients sell their home or probate resources if clients are interested in guardianship. Likewise, most lawyers need civil litigation resources like court rules and rules of evidence.
Who develops the Partnership’s online resources?
A statewide network of practicing Michigan lawyers. They work with our staff lawyers to create content that is practical and current.
How much does the Premium Partnership cost?
Price is based on the number of lawyers in your firm, including “of-counsel.” Premium Partnership starts at $93/month for solo lawyers.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. Monthly credit card payments are accepted. An initial 12-month commitment is required. Or pay annually if you prefer.
Can legal assistants use it too?
Yes, legal assistants and support staff are included in the subscription at no additional cost.
Can I get personal assistance navigating the resources?
