Karla Tankut is an experienced trial attorney at the firm. She previously served as chief public defender in Van Buren County, as a special judge in Oklahoma City, and as a trial attorney with the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System. Ms. Tankut's work has earned national recognition, including a Top 10 Under 40 honor from the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys, along with being featured as a WOOD TV "Remarkable Woman." She received her law degree from the University of Tulsa and her business degree from Oklahoma State University. Ms. Tankut is licensed to practice in Michigan and Oklahoma.
