Courtney L. Nichols is a shareholder and serves as the coleader of the firm's Labor and Employment Practice Group. Ms. Nichols represents employers in workforce-related litigation, including disputes involving allegations of wrongful termination, discrimination, and whistleblower claims. She also represents and advises employers on issues pertaining to various state and federal statutes, including the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and Title VII. In addition, Ms. Nichols advises institutions of higher education with respect to Title IX claims, providing training, counsel, and advice to administrators and staff on investigating and adjudicating such claims.
