Kendra Mattison is chief counsel, responsible for IP-related matters for Koch companies worldwide. She was previously chief IP counsel and assistant general counsel for Guardian Industries, now a wholly owned subsidiary of Koch. Prior to that, Ms. Mattison spent four years at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett and Dunner in Washington, D.C., where she focused on pharmaceutical patent litigation. Before starting her legal career, she worked for BASF in Wyandotte, Michigan, with roles in engineering, research, and environmental. Ms. Mattison is registered to practice in Michigan, Virginia, and Washington, D.C, and is a registered patent attorney. She currently serves as chair for the Intellectual Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
