Michael A. Chichester, Jr., is a shareholder at the Detroit office of his firm, a global labor and employment law practice representing employers with more than 1,500 attorneys in 90+ offices in 22 countries, including the United States. He also serves as cochair of Littler’s Global Workplace Transformation Initiative and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Detroit Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Mr. Chichester exclusively represents management in labor and employment relations and provides advice and counsel to small and large businesses on all aspects of employment law. He practices before state and federal agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and appears in both state and federal courts providing employment litigation defense against all types of claims, including discrimination concerning all protected classifications, harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing, wrongful termination, Family and Medical Leave Act, wage-and-hour, and tort.
