Robert S. Abramson has been investigating fraudulent insurance claims for two decades. Mr. Abramson has conducted over 1,000 examinations under oath for numerous carriers in first-party PIP, bodily injury cases, premises liability, and major case units in fire and theft. These EUOs and subsequent declaratory judgment actions have led to the dismissal of over $20,000,000 in claims. He has been invited to speak on fraud tactics at the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association (MCCA) Conference multiple times. Mr. Abramson has also spoken at the Insurance Alliance of Michigan Conference in Lansing over the last decade on such topics as fraud in the application, teaching adjusters key questions to ask on initial loss calls, and how to locate records plaintiffs don’t want you to find in PIP and BI cases.
