Stephan M. Fellows is a senior research lawyer at the Michigan Court of Appeals. He started his career in the research division and began clerking for Judge Michael Smolenski in 2005. After Judge Smolenski retired in December 2008, Mr. Fellows transferred to Judge Michael J. Kelly's chambers. He also takes a personal interest in civil procedure, commercial law, and funerary and mortuary law. Mr. Fellows was a Dean King Scholar at Michigan State University College of Law and a member of "Michigan State Law Review"; he also earned jurisprudence awards in real property and research writing and advocacy. Mr. Fellows is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Federal Bar Association for the Western District of Michigan.
