David M. Blanchard

David M. Blanchard, a founding partner at the firm, practices in the areas of employment litigation, civil rights, and discrimination, with a focus on individual, class, and collective cases regarding unpaid wages, overtime pay, minimum wage, and other injuries arising from misclassification or other wage theft. He also represents whistleblowers in qui tam litigation and individual retaliation cases in federal and state court and in administrative process at both the Department of Labor and National Labor Relations Board. Mr. Blanchard has served as counsel in several recent "independent contractor" class and collective actions for installers, laborers, and other low-wage workers. He has presented on these and other issues for the National Employment Lawyers Association, the State Bar of Michigan Labor and Employment Section, and the Michigan Association for Justice. Mr. Blanchard currently serves on the executive board of the Michigan Association for Justice. He is immediate past president of the Michigan Employment Lawyers Association.
