Melissa D. Reitz joined the firm in 1999. Since becoming an associate in 2003, she has focused her practice on Certificate of Need (CON), in both its regulatory and policy aspects, and has earned a reputation as one of the premier CON consultants in Michigan. In addition, Ms. Reitz has extensive experience in health facility licensing and other healthcare regulations. She became a managing partner of the firm in 2011 and became principal owner upon the retirement of Betsy Weihl in 2020. Ms. Reitz has been named one of Crain’s “50 Names to Know in Lobbying” in both 2020 and 2022.
