Michelle R. Heikka practices in the area of complex commercial litigation. She has been involved in the successful defense of actions involving claims for breach of contract, various business torts, violations of the Michigan Builder's Trust Fund Act, and lien foreclosures. Ms. Heikka served in the Free Legal Aid Clinic during her student years. Prior to law school, she served as a senior legislative assistant for Congresswoman Lynn N. Rivers, briefing the congresswoman on issues related to transportation, welfare, education, science and technology, the environment, and Medicare. Ms. Heikka is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
