Donna M. MacKenzie is a trial lawyer who represents individuals injured as a result of nursing home neglect and abuse as well as medical malpractice. She recently obtained a $4.4 million verdict for a client who was injured as a result of significant medical malpractice. Ms. MacKenzie serves as the president of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan. She is also the vice president of the Michigan Association for Justice, vice chair of the American Association for Justice Nursing Home Litigation Group, and a member of the State Bar of Michigan's Negligence Law Section Council. Ms. MacKenzie was recognized by "Crain's Detroit Business" as one of Michigan's Most Notable Women Lawyers in 2017, was selected to the "Michigan Lawyers Weekly" Leaders in the Law Class of 2017, and received the F. Scott Baldwin Award from the American Association for Justice in 2015. She was also named to the Michigan Top 25 Women Consumer Michigan Super Lawyers list from 2015 to 2018 and was recognized in 2016 and 2018 by "The Best Lawyers in America" as Medical Malpractice Lawyer of the Year in Troy.
