Gail M. Towne is an attorney in private practice focusing almost exclusively in domestic relations law with an emphasis on alternative dispute resolution. She is a partner with one of the oldest multipractice firms in downtown Kalamazoo. Ms. Towne is an experienced litigator, collaborative practitioner, and mediator. She is a council member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, where she still serves as cochair on both its Amicus and Domestic Relations Court Forms Committees. Ms. Towne is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan's Probate and Estate Planning and Alternative Dispute Resolution Sections, the Kalamazoo County Bar Association, and the Collaborative Law Institute of Michigan, as well as serving on a variety of SCAO committees. She writes and speaks frequently on family law matters.
