Mark D. van der Laan left private practice at the end of 2016 after 20 years of serving clients' complex litigation needs. After enjoying retirement, an opportunity arose to work for the Michigan Court of Appeals, and he now serves as the judicial clerk for Hon. James Robert Redford.
