Darcie R. Brault practices in all aspects of state and federal employment litigation, including appellate advocacy. She primarily represents workers and has particular expertise in Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) litigation and multiplaintiff litigation. Ms. Brault is a former chair of the State Bar of Michigan's Labor and Employment Law Section. She is a case evaluator for Wayne and Oakland Counties and an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association. Rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, Ms. Brault is listed in "The Best Lawyers in America," Crain's Detroit Area's Top Lawyers, and Michigan Super Lawyers. She frequently lectures on topics such as FMLA litigation, getting documents into evidence, the best evidence rule, authentication and new technology, caregiver discrimination, employment law updates, employment law for worker's compensation attorneys, and joint and successor liability. Ms. Brault also practices labor law, representing unions and their members in litigation in court, in arbitrations, and with the National Labor Relations Board.
