Stacey M. Washington has been practicing law in Michigan state and federal courts since 1987. She has practiced in a number of legal areas, including labor and employment, alternative dispute resolution, family, and probate. Ms. Washington is currently a solo practitioner focusing on drunk driving and criminal defense. She received both her bachelor's and law degrees from Wayne State University. Ms. Washington has been a contributor to the ICLE deposition skills and ADA/FMLA/worker's compensation programs, the Ave Maria School of Law Pathways to Law program, University of Michigan Law School oral argument competitions, the Cooley Law School Professionalism in Action Roundtable, and the American Inns of Court (Master level). A past chair of the Washtenaw County Bar Association's Solo and Small Firm Section, Ms. Washington is a Solo Practice University DUI defense instructor and is a former member of the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
