Having joined his firm in 1993 and been a shareholder since 1998, John W. Whitman practices in the areas of insurance law, criminal defense, and personal injury defense and litigation. Focusing his practice primarily on Michigan no-fault insurance law, Mr. Whitman has tried over 125 cases to verdict in state and federal courts. He has served as a neutral mediator for private facilitation in cases throughout Michigan and the Midwest, is a member of the Washtenaw County Case Evaluation Committee, and serves as a case evaluator in Washtenaw and Lenawee Counties.
