Howard Yale Lederman specializes mainly in appellate practice, while also providing legal writing and other litigation assistance to other lawyers and the general public. He is a charter member of the State Bar of Michigan's Appellate Practice Section and has written many appellate briefs in the Michigan appellate courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. A number of his appellate law, business law, and employment law articles and updates have been published by Michigan journals. Mr. Lederman is also active in the State Bar's Antitrust, Franchising, and Trade Regulation Section, as well as the Business Law and Solo and Small Firm Sections. He is a member of the Jewish Bar Association of Michigan and has also served on that organization's board of directors. Mr. Lederman is an adjunct professor at Cooley Law School.
