At his firm, Jeffrey M. Risius is a managing director and serves as its chief client service officer. He has over 30 years of experience in providing valuation consulting services and has extensive experience in providing transaction advisory services to companies in a wide range of industries. Mr. Risius also sits on his firm's Fairness Opinion Committee, which sets internal policy and also reviews the draft opinions that are reached by members of the firm's transaction and employee stock ownership plan advisory practices. He is frequently engaged as an expert, consultant, or third-party neutral on high-stakes litigation involving complex valuation issues, including shareholder disputes, fraudulent conveyance matters, transaction disputes, and bankruptcy-related valuation litigation. Mr. Risius has written many technical publications, including "Business Valuation: A Primer for the Legal Professional," published by the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association and has also lectured and presented numerous continuing education seminars on the subjects of valuation, litigation advisory services, succession planning, and transaction advisory services.
