Cassie Lively, Ph.D., is Regional Vice President of Employment at the American Arbitration Association – International Centre for Dispute Resolution (AAA-ICDR). Dr. Lively leads employment business development and outreach activities across the central United States, building relationships with stakeholders and strategically expanding AAA’s impact. Cassie has more than 20 years of experience in alternative dispute resolution leadership, previously serving as Executive Director at Chicago’s Center for Conflict Resolution. A seasoned mediator with over 350 cases mediated, Dr. Lively also serves as a section leader for the Association for Conflict Resolution’s Community Mediation and Restorative Practices Section, and as a past Board Chair for the National Association for Community Mediation. In 2010, she earned a Ph.D. in Sociology from Loyola University Chicago.
