Sean A. Blume has been in private practice since founding the firm in 2007. Mr. Blume’s practice focuses on complex family law litigation, including juvenile, probate, and adoption matters. His practice has grown to encompass Wayne, Macomb, Oakland, and St. Clair counties.He began his legal career managing grant programs designed to assist young people age out of foster care successfully. Mr. Blume spent the next four years being appointed as counsel for juveniles charged with crimes and L-GAL for kids in neglect and abuse cases. He has served as a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Family Law Council for the past seven years and is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and Collaborative Practice Institute of Michigan. He currently serves as secretary to the Wayne County Family Law Bar Association Board as well as the board of the Macomb County Bar Association.
