Michelle M. Letourneau-McAvoy is a domestic relations referee. While in private practice, Ms. Letourneau-McAvoy became a certified domestic relations mediator and completed the ICLE Family Law Certificate Program. She is a former member of the State Bar of Michigan Family Law Council, the cochair of the Family Court Forum, and participates in several Family Law Council committees. She is a former president of the Referees Association of Michigan, the current treasurer and co-chair of the membership committee. Ms. Letourneau-McAvoy is the current president of the Michigan Inter-Professional Association on Marriage, Divorce, and Family. She is a member of the Michigan Family Law Benchbook Advisory Committee and a former member of the Michigan Judicial Institute's Domestic Relations Quick Reference Materials Editorial Advisory Committee. She is a regular guest lecturer at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
