Karen S. Sendelbach has been practicing family law exclusively for more than 23 years. She focuses her practice on providing mediation, arbitration, and parenting facilitation to families, as well as traditional client representation. Committed to helping families resolve their differences out of court, Ms. Sendelbach is a court-approved mediator with a certificate for elder mediation and training in collaborative law. She is a past chairperson of the State Bar of Michigan's Family Law Section and served for years prior to that on the section's Amicus Curiae Committee, where she authored numerous briefs on the section's behalf. Ms. Sendelbach is a member of the Washtenaw County Bar Association (WCBA) and a past chairperson of its Family Law Section. She is a frequent presenter at WCBA SMILE programs, at statewide Family Law Section meetings, and for ICLE seminars.
