A partner in the firm, Shane B. Hansen chairs the firm's Broker-Dealer/Investment Adviser Practice Group. He practices in the area of financial services regulation of banks, broker-dealers, investment advisers, financial planners, and money managers. Mr. Hansen regularly advises clients about business, corporate, banking, securities, and franchise laws and regulations. His longstanding relationships with regulators have facilitated obtaining regulatory interpretations and negotiated settlements of regulatory issues for many clients. Mr. Hansen has substantial experience involving mergers, acquisitions, and sales of financial institutions and their assets.
