A practicing attorney since 1974, Stanley T. Dobry has been an arbitrator, mediator, and fact finder for 29 years. He is a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators and has served on various committees. Mr. Dobry is also a member of the Association for Conflict Resolution, the Ukrainian American Bar Association of Michigan (president), and the Labor and Employment Relations Association (formerly Industrial Relations Research Association; president of the Detroit chapter). He is on Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, American Arbitration Association, Michigan Employee Relations Commission, Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission, Iowa Public Employment Relations Board, and Ohio State Employment Relations Board panels, as well as a number of other private and public sector panels. A graduate of the Detroit College of Law, Mr. Dobry was formerly employed by Central Michigan University as an adjunct professor, the Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission as a staff attorney, and arbitrator George Roumell, Jr., as a law clerk.
