Jacob N. Simon focuses his practice on family law, including divorce, custody, support, property division, and the related financial analyses. Before entering private practice, Mr. Simon clerked for Hon. Daniel V. Zemaitis of the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Michigan, Family Division. Mr. Simon has completed civil and domestic relations mediation training. Mr. Simon is an adjunct professor at the Michigan State University College of Law, where he teaches matrimonial practice and coached the 2021 Welfare and Adoption Law Moot Court Team. He is a director in the Oakland County Bar Association’s New Lawyers Committee and an active member of the Family Court Committee as well as State Bar of Michigan’s Family Law Section. Mr. Simon obtained his JD from the Michigan State University College of Law.
