Daniel M. Ungar is a member of the firm's Electronic Payments, Corporate, and Privacy and Datasecurity Practice Groups, concentrating his practice in corporate, commercial, and intellectual property matters, including drafting and negotiating business contracts, technology licensing, M&A, securities law, and start-up and emerging companies matters such as entity formation and venture financing. He previously served as a law clerk to Judge Mark A. Goldsmith in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Ungar is admitted to practice in New York and Michigan and in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He was a mentor at the Techstars Patriot Boot Camp in 2015 and has authored an article published in the "Intellectual Property Quarterly."
