J.V. Anderton is a shareholder of the firm. He has extensive experience in estate planning and administration, business law, real estate, and medical practices, and advises clients in a variety of tax-related fields. Mr. Anderton is also an adjunct professor at Cooley Law School for the LLM in Taxation program. He has spoken on various topics related to estate planning and fiduciary issues. Mr. Anderton is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Florida, Ingham County Bar Association, Ingham County Bar Foundation, U.S. Tax Court Bar, and State Bar of Michigan (SBM). He is also a member of the SBM's Probate and Estate Planning Council, chair of the SBM Probate and Estate Planning Section's Tax Committee, and a former member of the SBM's Tax Pro Bono Committee.
