J. V. Anderton is a shareholder of the firm. He has extensive experience in estate planning and administration, business law, real estate, and medical practices and advises clients in a variety of tax-related fields. Mr. Anderton has spoken on various topics related to estate planning and fiduciary issues. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Florida, Ingham County Bar Association, the Ingham County Bar Foundation, the U.S. Tax Court Bar, and the State Bar of Michigan (SBM). Mr. Anderton is also a member of the SBM's Probate and Estate Planning Council, chair of the SBM Probate and Estate Planning Section's Tax Committee, and a former member of the SBM's Tax Pro Bono Committee.
