Subpoenaing Cell Phone Data
New Form
In Michigan trucking cases, subpoenaing a defendant driver's cell phone service provider is especially critical when there are indicia of distracted driving like no braking activity or for cases in which the truck veered left of center. Use this new sample form when drafting a letter to accompany such a subpoena in order to clarify the requested data.

Spoliation Letter for Trucking Case
New Form
In a trucking matter, as in any case, a spoliation letter puts the defendant motor carrier on notice of potential litigation and guards against the destruction of documentary or other evidence. This new form is a sample spoliation letter that the injured party's counsel can send to the motor carrier, the insurer, and any third-party vendors the carrier uses.

Residential Tenant Estoppel Certificate
New Form
An estoppel certificate provides the title insurance company with representations they can rely on to issue the loan policy of title insurance. Use this new form as an example when drafting an estoppel certificate made by a residential tenant to a landlord's lender acknowledging that the lease remains in effect and that the tenant's obligations continue.
