Help veterans to prepare, present, and prosecute claims for VA benefits

Grasp the basics of numerous veterans' benefits programs. From the initial filing of a claim to adjudication, appeal, and judicial review, learn to navigate the Department of Veterans Affairs system and the types of claims commonly requiring attorney assistance. This seminar meets all VA requirements for CLE accreditation.

  • Advise veterans on general eligibility requirements
  • File the initial claim
  • Secure disability compensation, dependency and indemnity compensation, and pensions
  • Appeal a denial of benefits

Accreditation: In order for attorneys to assist veterans with claims for VA benefits, attorneys must be accredited. If you wish to have this seminar count toward your required three-hour VA accreditation CLE, you must complete the Form 21a application and receive notification from the VA that you are accredited prior to the seminar.

In order for attorneys to assist veterans with claims for VA benefits, attorneys must be accredited. If you are not already accredited, in order for this seminar to qualify for VA CLE you must submit Form 21a to the US Department of Veterans Affairs and receive notification from the VA that they've received the form (usually a 4 - 6 week turnaround) prior to taking this seminar.
