Walter Metzen is a board certified specialist in consumer bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification and represents consumer and small business debtors in bankruptcy cases in both the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Consumer Bankruptcy Association (CBA), and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Mr. Metzen has served as a speaker for CBA as well as serving as a member of the subcommittee responsible for drafting revisions to local bankruptcy rules.He earned his law degree from the University of Detroit and has been a guest lecturer on bankruptcy and debtor-creditor topics at the University of Detroit.
