Sheila Robertson Deming practices in the area of criminal defense with Deming & Maurer in Grand Ledge, with an emphasis on sentencing appeals. She currently serves on ICLE's Executive Committee and is a past chairperson. Ms. Deming served on the Sentencing Commission from 1995 to 1998. Before entering private practice, she represented indigent defendants in felony appeals from 1980 until January 2004 as an attorney with the State Appellate Defender Office, specializing in sentencing.
