Samantha M. Snow Welton currently serves as the managing staff attorney and chief clerk of the Michigan Tax Tribunal. She has experience in state and local tax controversy matters and property tax appeals. Ms. Welton is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan's Taxation Section, has been published in the section's journal, "Michigan Tax Lawyer," and is a board member of the Michigan Women's Tax Association. In addition to her JD, she obtained her LLM in taxation from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. Ms. Welton teaches property valuation in the Graduate Tax Program.
