Carolee Kvoriak is the executive director of tax at her company. She is primarily responsible for the management of the tax department as well as tax research and planning, legislative affairs, and managing controversies with respect to a wide variety of federal, state, and local tax issues. She has practiced tax law for over 21 years and started her legal career as a law clerk to Justice Marilyn Kelly of the Michigan Supreme Court. Ms. Kvoriak holds an undergraduate degree in economics, a JD, and an LLM in taxation, all from Wayne State University in Detroit. In addition to serving as the past chair of the Michigan State Bar Taxation Section and the past tax policy chair for the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, she also sits on the board of directors of the Citizens Research Council of Michigan and participates in a number of industry groups.
