Leader of the firm's national Appellate Practice team, Jill M. Wheaton is a litigator involved in high-profile appellate work, commercial litigation, and products liability defense. She has handled appeals for clients in state and federal courts throughout the country in all areas of the law. A member of the American Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute, Ms. Wheaton is a past chair of the State Bar of Michigan's Appellate Practice Section Council and is currently on the executive board of the Council of Appellate Lawyers. She has been named a Michigan Super Lawyer (appellate practice, 2008-2015) and included in "The Best Lawyers in America" (appellate practice and commercial litigation).
