Mark R. Kneisel has been an appellate prosecutor in the office of the Washtenaw County Prosecuting Attorney since 2001. He was previously a trial prosecutor in the sex crimes division of that office. In addition to briefing and arguing numerous cases in the Michigan Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, Mr. Kneisel has conducted law enforcement trainings throughout Washtenaw County and at the Washtenaw Community College police academy. Mr. Kneisel co-chaired the Ann Arbor Mayor’s Task Force on Increasing Safety for Women during its implementation of the SANE/SART (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner/Sexual Assault Response Team) program for Washtenaw County.
