Robert E. Kass practices in the areas of taxation, estate planning, and probate and trust administration. He is a recipient of a Fulbright-Swiss University Fellowship to the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, Switzerland, and earned his master's degree in taxation from New York University in addition to his law degree from the University of Michigan. A Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, Mr. Kass is a member of the Planned Giving Roundtable of Southeast Michigan, the Financial & Estate Planning Council of Metropolitan Detroit, and the professional advisory committees of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan and other charitable organizations. He is a coauthor of "What Do We Do Now? A Practical Guide to Estate Administration for Widows, Widowers and Heirs," "Who Will Care When You're Not There? Estate Planning for Pet Owners," and "The Executor's Companion: A Practical Guide to Estate Administration." He is a frequent presenter for major local, national, and international charitable organizations, civic, and professional groups, including the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and ICLE.
