Terry W. Bonnette

Terry W. Bonnette is a partner at the firm. He is a graduate of Wayne State University Law School where he was a member of its National Moot Court Team. Before law school, he taught courses in argumentation, persuasion, and speech writing for both Bradley University and Eastern Michigan University, where he also coached their nationally ranked speech teams. Since law school, Mr. Bonnette has practiced at Nemeth Bonnette Brouwer, PC (formerly Nemeth Law, PC), representing and counseling management in labor and employment law. A frequent speaker, he has presented seminars on topics such as Michigan wage and hours law, advanced FMLA issues, hiring and firing within the law, disciplining and discharging employees, who's accessing your technology, religion in the workplace, identity theft prevention, and employment law in strategic human resources management. In addition, Mr. Bonnette has authored or coauthored numerous articles on these topics for "Employment Law 360," CORP! Magazine, "Michigan Bar Journal," and "Michigan Lawyers Weekly."
