Jennifer A. Zinn has practiced in the employment relations field for over 20 years, both as a litigator and as a counselor to human resources professionals on the full spectrum of employment statutes and workplace issues. She has special expertise in federal and state civil rights laws, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act. Prior to joining Kienbaum Opperwall Hardy and Pelton in 2008, Ms. Zinn was employed in Ford Motor Company's Office of the General Counsel, where she had primary responsibility for employment counseling at the Company. Before working for Ford Motor Company, she was a partner at a major Detroit-based general practice law firm, where she represented employers from various industries in litigation and administrative proceedings and provided advice to management clients on labor and employment relations matters. Ms. Zinn is a member of the State Bar of Michigan's Labor and Employment Law Section.
