Practicing in the areas of business, contract, and entertainment industries law, Shari Friedman Lesnick is the firm's supervising attorney and chairperson of its Entertainment Industries Law Practice Group. She is involved in all aspects of the strategic operations of her corporate and individual clients, including both their transactional and litigation matters. Previously, as a corporate counsel for Time Warner, Inc., Ms. Lesnick represented its worldwide record label group in the music industry's initial collective bargaining negotiations with the Directors Guild of America, the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, and the Screen Actors Guild pertaining to music video production. Ms. Lesnick has represented a diverse group of local, national, and international clients across the broad spectrum of the entertainment industries, including Grammy® award-winning recording artists, independent film and television production companies, music producers, songwriters, radio broadcasting corporations, record labels, radio personalities, music publishers, management companies, and concert promoters. A graduate of Southwestern University, she is admitted to practice in the courts of Michigan and before the federal courts in the Southern Division of New York, the Eastern District of Michigan, and the District of Utah. Ms. Lesnick has lectured on and published articles about topics germane to the entertainment industries.
