James G. Gross

James G. Gross practices appellate law primarily in the areas of insurance coverage and personal injury defense. In the past 32 years, he has litigated more than 500 appeals in the Michigan and federal courts, a great many of them involving the No-Fault Act. Early in his career, Mr. Gross served as the Court of Appeals' assistant digest editor, as a prehearing attorney, and as law clerk to Hon. Daniel F. Walsh. He is a member of several state and national bar associations, a past president of the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, and a fellow of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers. Mr. Gross was named a Michigan Lawyers Weekly "Lawyer of the Year" for 2006 and is recognized as a "Michigan Super Lawyer." He has been a regular contributor for ICLE's annual no-fault update seminars.
