Hon. Steven W. Rhodes has been a bankruptcy judge since 1985 in the Eastern District of Michigan. From 1997 to 2004, he also served on the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel (BAP) of the Sixth Circuit. Judge Rhodes was appointed to a new four-year term on the BAP beginning on January 1, 2008. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and has served there as an adjunct professor, teaching bankruptcy law. A fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy, Judge Rhodes has had several articles on bankruptcy topics published in "American Bankruptcy Law Journal."
