A member of the firm's Business and Finance Department, Adiah Ferron represents clients in various sectors on corporate, securities, and financing matters. She has extensive experience in the preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts including merger and acquisition agreements, oil and gas leases, and licensing and technology transfer agreements. Ms. Ferron also counsels clients on a wide variety of energy matters, including climate change regulations and disclosures, renewable energy projects, and oil and gas leasing. Most recently, she represented a client's investment interest in a wind power development company and assisted in the formation of a nonprofit clearinghouse organization designed to assess the sustainability of their common suppliers in a particular industry. Ms. Ferron spoke at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's Environmental Law Forum (2009) and Climate Change Law for Pennsylvania Lawyers (2007 and 2009) and is a coauthor of several articles. Prior to joining the firm, she served as law clerk to the late Honorable Clifford Scott Green of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
