Daniel R. Siefer practices in the area of no-fault law and insurance coverage with the firm, where he is of counsel. He retired as an executive attorney with Hom Killeen Siefer Arene and Hoehn, house counsel for Auto Club Insurance Association. Mr. Siefer is admitted to practice before the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. A former member of the State Bar of Michigan's Representative Assembly, he is a current member of the Association of Defense Trial Counsel, the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, and the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association. Mr. Siefer has taught numerous courses for ICLE on no-fault issues since 1986 and has been a guest lecturer at Wayne State University Law School. He is the coauthor of two law review articles: "Insurance Law," Wayne Law Review, Winter 1986, and "Let's Get Serious: A View of the Serious Impairment Threshold from a Defense Perspective," University of Detroit Mercy Law Review, Summer 2010.
