Once you have located a document, you
can find specific terms within the document using the Find in Page feature,
available in Netscape and Internet Explorer. [TOP] Refine your search results by incorporating the following tips into your search string. Phrases When searching for a phrase, use double quotation marks: "purchase agreement". This will return all documents where purchase and agreement are adjacent. and, or, and not Use the Boolean operators and, or, and not to focus your search. To find all documents containing both purchase and agreement, type purchase and agreement To find all documents containing either the word purchase or the word agreement, type purchase or agreement To find all documents containing the word purchase but not agreement, type purchase not agreement You can also combine Boolean operators in a single search. To find all pages containing both purchase and agreement, but not the word software type: purchase and agreement not software Capitalization If you use all lowercase letters, you'll get all occurrences of your terms. If you use mixed case or capital letters, you'll only get exact matches. Search for worker's compensation - you get Worker's Compensation, worker's compensation, WORKER'S COMPENSATION and any other combination of lowercase and capital letters. Search for Worker's Compensation - you get only the exact match. The results you get are only those in which the two words are capitalized. Advanced Searching Searching by Proximity
Searching for keywords purchase agreement and choosing w/ 5 words, will give you all results where purchase occurs within 5 words of agreement. Searching by Titles
