ICLE is jointly sponsored by The State Bar of Michigan, The University of Michigan Law School, and The Wayne State University Law School, with the support of The Thomas M. Cooley Law School, University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and Ave Maria School of Law.

ICLE reports regularly to the ICLE Executive Committee, which consists of representatives of ICLE's sponsoring organizations and members of the State Bar of Michigan.
