Gary W. Francis is associate general counsel for employment and labor law. He provides counsel to the corporation on all employee relations matters to ensure compliance with all employment and labor laws, including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act. Mr. Francis represents the corporation in administrative matters with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the Department of Labor, and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. He provides guidance and counsel on executive compensation and employee benefit matters. Mr. Francis is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of both the State Bar of Michigan and the American Bar Association, as well as the Employment and Labor Law Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association.
