Michael R. Viterna has helped veterans and their dependents obtain benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) since 1998. He is accredited by the VA and is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Viterna is a member of the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims Bar Association and the National Organization of Veterans' Advocates, Inc., where he previously served on the board of directors as its president. He previously served as chair of the Veterans Affairs Committee of the American Bar Association's Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice Section. In addition, Mr. Viterna is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is on the council of the Military and Veterans' Law Section and serves as its treasurer. He is a frequent lecturer and author with ICLE.
