Lewis M. Seward practices in the area of Social Security disability issues at all levels of appeals through the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is a sustaining member of the National Association of Social Security Claimants' Representatives. Mr. Seward is a past chair of the State Bar of Michigan's Social Security Lawyers Section and the current editor and a frequent contributor to the section's newsletter, "Social Security." He has 12 years' experience in the health care field, including 6 years as a medical reviewer for Medicare and Medicaid. He also holds a master's degree in health care administration from Central Michigan University. Mr. Seward is a frequent lecturer, both locally and nationally, on various topics related to Social Security disability law.
