Erika S. Julien practices in the areas of criminal defense and general civil litigation. She is the sole shareholder of Julien Law PLLC in Ypsilanti, as well as a partner in the Julington Litigation Center, PLLC, located in Ann Arbor. Currently serving as an advisor to the State Bar of Michigan's Standing Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence and Practice, Ms. Julien is a former member of the Criminal Law Section Council. She has also served as president of Criminal Defense Lawyers of Washtenaw County and as founding president of the Washtenaw County/EMU Legal Resource Center. Ms. Julien served extensive terms on the Washtenaw County Bar Association board of directors and was honored to receive the association's first-ever Outstanding Young Lawyer Award, which is given to one lawyer each year who demonstrates strong leadership and a dedication to the community. She was also the 2005 recipient of the State Bar of Michigan's Regeana Myrick Outstanding Young Lawyer Award and was named a "Lawyer of the Year" by Michigan Lawyers Weekly.
